Jul 20, 2006 · Im a complete n00b to excel and I really need some help. I need a formula to tell me how much certain amounts of sheet aluminum weigh. I know a square foot of 1/8" aluminum weighs 1.8lbs. Basically I want to type in the amount of square feet and get the weight. This may help to, a 60" X 144" sheet of 1/8" aluminum weighs 104.76lbs.
